As you will read in this newsletter, we are entering a time of unprecedented growth, change, and evolution. This is because Pluto, which rules collective awareness, is moving into the innovative, free-thinking air sign of Aquarius on March 23, 2023. Pluto has been in the tradition-based, deliberative, hierarchical, and slower-moving earth sign of Capricorn since 2008. Aquarian ideals, on the other hand, are egalitarian, humanitarian, and inclusive. Your thoughts will increasingly attract what you need and create what you want under the influence of the fast-paced, mentally-oriented energy of Aquarius. 

 

The shift of Pluto into Aquarius will open your mind to many new, refreshing possibilities. The mentally-oriented energy of Aquarius also will quicken your brainwaves, which will enable you to manifest what you imagine ever more quickly. Your thinking will become non-linear as you increasingly see the world in a spherical, holistic, holographic, even 4th- or 5th-dimensional way. From this new perspective, much creative and innovative activity will emerge. Pluto was last in Aquarius from 1778 to 1798, when the U.S. Constitution was ratified, during the French Revolution and at the start of the Industrial Revolution. A  powerful paradigm shift for the whole planet will be initiated in 2023. This includes a redistribution of power from monolithic governments to individual communities, testing many of the democratic principles recognized more than 200 years ago. Pluto will remain in the revolutionary sign of Aquarius until 2044. As a result, old "tried-and-true" methods will not seem so true. You will reach higher and dig deeper to find truth-of yourself and the world around you. You may even feel as if pieces of yourself will be taken apart as you reassemble them in a new-and better-way.

Globally, the changes will come in the form of new technologies that will change the cadence of your life. New modes of communication and transportation will more closely connect you with people around the world. New financial mechanisms will open avenues for you to conduct commerce and will fuel small businesses that will fill the needs of your local community. Other new and revolutionary businesses will emerge that will have global reach. You will see the failing of old, corporate businesses and buildings. There also will be a melting of national boundaries and a series of rapidly changing governmental leaders, who will represent a revolving door of ideologies that reflect the world's struggle between traditional hierarchical power (Capricorn) and fast-moving, flexible, and freer frameworks (Aquarius). Aquarius responds to the needs and thought currents of the moment while Capricorn builds strength by remaining firm. You will learn to quickly adapt to changing circumstances engendered by the power of Pluto in Aquarius. The quick-moving planetary energies also will shape your perceptions of reality-and reality itself. 

Sign of Aquarius

Power, gradually-and eventually, not so gradually-will be redistributed to those who have not previously held power. Initially, there will be confusion about which "law" to follow-the old or the new. This will lead to a periodic sense of anarchy as people will make their own rules to fit their circumstances. Ultimately, power will irrevocably move to the people-along with all of the disruption this may engender. Still, it is a necessary step in our global evolution, which involves growing individual responsibility. 

These changes already are "in the air" because the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction on the Winter Solstice of 2020 (the Christmas star) was in the air sign of Aquarius. The once-every-20-year conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn set the tone for the world for the next 20 years. The era-molding Jupiter-Saturn conjunction landed in the mentally-based air sign of Aquarius in 2020 for the first time since 1405. Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions will continue to be in air signs for the next 400 years (as opposed to earth signs, where Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions have occurred for the past 600 years). The movement of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions, which occur every 20 years on the even-numbered decade (i.e. 1980, 2000, 2020, 2040), from earth signs to air signs, will further fuel the transition to an energetically lighter world, one that is more accommodating to the creative power of your thoughts. Mental power is related to air signs; in contrast, material progress, much of which we have seen in the last 600 years, is related to earth signs.

During the upcoming years, you will have choices between many new possibilities-many of which will be generated from within your own mind and from the spiritual energies you allow to flow through you. In this time of change, it will be wise to re-evaluate your fixed habits of thought and consequent patterns of behavior. Which of your thoughts and actions are serving you? Which are not? Which would you like to continue? Which would you like to discard? Does what you're doing and thinking matter? To whom? The energy is available to create anew. What would you like to bring into your life for yourself versus what would you like to create for others? Or for the world? The power of your thoughts to determine your new trajectory is at a zenith at this time.

Telepathic Communication

If you don't know yet which direction to take with the new energies that will become available, pray for images, guidance, and spiritual assistance as the future unfolds. Ideally, your thoughts will be attuned to the energy of your own soul and the Divine. You can even pray for this attunement! Abundant celestial energies are available to assist you. You simply need to open the channel for the spiritual power to flow! Even if you don't know what to pray for-pray for the highest good for all and for the highest quality of love and light to come to you, through you, and to be available for all.

I realize my newsletters since 2012 (the year predicted by the Mayan calendar as the end of time) have focused on the dismantling of the world as we have known it. A decade has passed since 2012, and enough of our former reality has been dismantled to make space for the new ideas that will usher in a freer, more creative, and more thought-based reality. Please be aware that there still will be periods where old systems of control will vehemently assert themselves. Ultimately, however, we are moving toward a time of greater individual autonomy-and responsibility. Previous limitations will start falling away under the influence of Pluto in Aquarius in 2023-2024 and new lifestyles will continue to evolve even faster, beginning in 2026, due to the consciousness-raising planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto transitioning out of the slower-moving, more conservative earth and water signs of Taurus, Pisces, and Capricorn (respectively) into the faster-moving fire and air signs of Gemini, Aries, and Aquarius. Karmic Saturn also will move from the air sign of Aquarius (2020-2023) to the water sign of Pisces (2023-2026) into the fire sign of Aries in 2026. We are creating the foundation now for even more dramatic, fiery changes from 2026 onward. The multi-year process will give you many opportunities to experiment with new ideas and activities!

Pluto

1) Pluto will move into Aquarius on March 23, 2023, for the first time since 1798. 

Pluto last traveled through Aquarius from 1778 to 1798, when the U.S. Constitution was ratified, during the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. A  powerful paradigm shift for the whole planet will be initiated in 2023. This includes a redistribution of power from monolithic government to groups of individuals who will form cooperative communities that support each other. 

Ultimately, Pluto in Aquarius will bring greater support for humanitarian and egalitarian ideals, but also will un-earth forces that have been working to counter to these democratic ideals.  Power struggles over who controls the air waves and sources of information will continue and intensify. Issues of the limits of censorship will be front & center. Furthermore, rather than physical wars, we will, unfortunately, see more "info wars," where who controls the airwaves may well control the hearts and minds of some sectors of humanity. 

The Pluto-in-Aquarius period also will feature a rapidly accelerating pace of technological evolution and an increasing use of artificial intelligence to perform everyday tasks. The line between "human" and "trans-human" will blur under the over-use of artificial intelligence.  We also will see a greater electrification of the planet that will bring higher speeds of communication that may outpace the human mind's ability to keep pace. As wifi and electronic signals move faster and faster, we will see concomitant interruptions in these signals-as if Mother Nature is asking that technological developments work in harmony with the vibrations of humanity and the earth. 

We also will see language change to be more streamlined, efficient, and visually oriented (pictures rather than letters) to express more complex ideas. We already are seeing so much information being communicated via emojis and videos. Also, witness people spending thousands, if not millions, of dollars to purchase one-of-a-kind non-fungible tokens (NFT's) that are merely electronic pictures that can serve as a form of currency. Of course, these pictures often are more attractive than the dollar bill or euro, so who's to judge? These images well could turn into the currency of the future along with various iterations of the cryptocurrencies currently available.

Saturn

2) Saturn will move into Pisces on March 7, 2023, for the first time since 1996. 

Saturn will travel through Pisces from March 7, 2023 to February 13, 2026. Saturn was last in Pisces from 1994 to 1996. Even though the power of prayer is well-known, the power of prayer and positive thoughts was first documented in studies and recognized in the mainstream media during the period from 1994-1996. Concurrently, your thoughts, dreams, and visions will more easily manifest under the influence of Saturn in Pisces. The intangible easily becomes tangible under the influence of concrete Saturn in the numinous and other-worldly water sign of Pisces. Energy healing, telepathy, healing with light and sound, and even astrology will thrive under Saturn in Pisces. Think about where you would like to be in the future and know that you will silently be propelled forward under Saturn in Pisces. Spiritual practice also will bring you many benefits under this celestial influence. 

Saturn was last in Pisces (prior to 1994 to 1996), from 1964 to 1967, and from 1935 to 1938. Saturn in Pisces enables spiritual ideas to envelop large groups of people as personal boundaries weaken and people feel connected to something greater than themselves. National and international boundaries also will tend to erode under Saturn in Pisces-which may cause a backlash by governments trying to exert control-by solidifying borders and instituting border patrols and electronic monitoring of borders, and increased regulations and controls over who enters which nation, as witnessed during the pandemic. 

Still, diverse people and ideas will come together more easily. under Saturn in Pisces. In the United States, we already are seeing the melting of ideological boundaries as lifelong Democrats embrace some Republican ideals and Republicans are crossing the aisle to side with traditional Democratic ideals, such as gun control. It may not be uncommon to see politicians switching parties at this time. The same will be happening across the globe as Saturn in Pisces brings a blending of ideas. We already have a growing libertarian movement that  is considered both far left and far right. Its principles of free markets, individual liberties, and body autonomy embrace concepts espoused by both the right and the left. Other such movements will be emerging in the coming years. 

Jupiter

3) Jupiter will enter Taurus on May 16, 2023, for the first time since 2012. 

Jupiter will be in Taurus until May 25, 2024, where it will focus our minds on economic and financial change as well as innovative approaches to the environment and gardening. We may see a near maxxing-out of the electrical grid under Jupiter in Taurus, as Planet Earth can no longer sustain its electrification. Interruptions in wifi or the electrical grid will cause all of us to find new and more natural ways of living and communicating-possibly using the power of telepathy and brain waves rather than physical devices and man-made electronic waves. Soothing waves of divine compassion and heart-centered communication will eventually supplant frenetic texting and other forms of electronic communication. Nonetheless, financially, we will see a greater adoption of digital currencies, cryptocurrencies, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to gradually replace traditional paper currencies.

4) A series of eclipses that have not occurred since 2004 also will bring new creative energy on April 19, May 5, October 14 & 28, 2023. 

These eclipses will bring energy for starting new and creative businesses, for developing new financial systems, and for discovering more of what has been hidden under the surface in need of reform. The divisiveness we've witnessed between left & right, red & blue, etc., will break through to more unity and coherence as we re-create our world in the coming years on a more conscious and evolved level. We are about to reach a maximum state of polarity. It is a law of physics that opposites eventually turn into each other. What happens when ideas go too far right? They become left. And when they go too far left? They become right. The powerful eclipses of 2023 (dates listed above) will continue to cause unexpected reversals to show us the flip side of what we previously perceived as reality. 
 

Finally, in transformative times such as we are in, there is no substitute for the power of prayer and positive thinking to ameliorate your journey. It will be important in the coming years to not only harness the power of your thoughts, but to fortify and strengthen your thoughts by attuning them to the energy of your soul and the Divine through meditation and prayer. The cost of living in Italy has increased considerably: from fuel for cars and for heating homes, to electricity, to food products. To cope with the stress this situation has put on their finances, my friends have had to cut back on groceries, limit the use of their car, and heat their homes for a maximum of 3-4 hours per day despite cold temperatures. Having lived in Italy in the winter of 2001, I was astonished by how expensive it already was in those years to heat my small apartment. To save on expenses as much as possible, my friends have built small stoves using terracotta flower pots over tea lights, which allow them to add some warmth to their home (see photos).
