Dear Ones,

We truly are on the precipice of a new beginning as we enter 2021. Fortunate Jupiter and karmic Saturn will come together in Aquarius, the sign of brotherly love, on the Winter Solstice-Monday, December 21, 2020. This once-every-20-year phenomenon last occurred in Aquarius in 1405, just prior to the Renaissance. It portends a lightening of the darkness and the potential for greater global harmony and understanding.

The Winter Solstice on December 21, 2020 also marks the moment when we celebrate the return of the light in the northern hemisphere as the days become longer and coincide with the annual holiday festivities of light and hope. Use the days leading up to the Solstice, the Holiday Season, and the New Year to celebrate the light within you and to affirm and pray for the growth of greater light around the world.

The new year of 2021 also features a series of rare planetary alignments-beginning with the re-structuring prompted by the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius on December 21, 2020. Change continues with the radically surprising energy of Jupiter in Aquarius squaring change-oriented Uranus in Taurus on January 17, 2021. Soon after, karmic Saturn in Aquarius squares innovative Uranus in Taurus on February 17, June 14 and December 24, 2021. (Saturn and Uranus align in such a square every 22 years.) This emphasizes the need to make changes that will lead to greater progress in the future. These changes often are preceded by a struggle between the "old" and the "new." 

In addition to the ground-breaking alignments of change-oriented Uranus with Jupiter and Saturn (both newly in Aquarius), boundary-dissolving Neptune will be in Pisces throughout 2021 (along with Jupiter in Pisces from May 13 to July 28, 2021), portending radical and subtle changes in our collective attitudes, desires, motivations-and changing abilities to harmonize with each other. Neptune was last in Pisces at the beginning of the U.S. Civil War. Pluto, which will be in Capricorn in 2021, was last in Capricorn at the beginning of the American and French Revolutions.

Radical and Revolutionary Influences
So, we will be operating under some very revolutionary, even radical, influences in 2021. The consequences of the pandemic that began in 2020 will be integrated in 2021, and its reverberations will be felt for at least the rest of the decade as we fix those aspects of our individual and collective systems that no longer work in a post-pandemic world. We surely will be ready to begin again on a higher note-one that includes greater equality between races, genders, and nations, and one that involves sharing goods, information, and resources rather than operating out of narrow self-interests. We will be moving into a reality that features greater transparency, clarity, and honesty. Lifestyles also will become "lighter" as we let go of formalities, procedures, material and mechanical solutions from the past in favor of speedier, lighter electronic means of communications and travel, learning, and experiencing.

Choose between the "Old" and the "New"
In your personal life, you are going to face a choice between the "old" and the "new." Which direction are you going to go? You will have many, many choices to make in 2021 as erratic planetary patterns prompt you to integrate transformative changes initiated during the last year-and also push you to carve out a path for the future. Doing the same old thing the same old way won't work very well, and also will mean you are missing one of the most dramatic periods of transformation offered to humanity by the celestial spheres in many decades.

Embrace the "New" and "Innovative"
In general, if you embrace the new and innovative-or at least compromise, you will do better than if you fully hold on to the past. If you embrace Spirit and your spiritual nature, you will be happier than if you focus on material objects as a source of security.

Explore "New" Ways of Thinking and Living
Due to the radically transformational energies pouring onto the planet beginning in 2020 and continuing in 2021, you will feel happier when you explore new areas of thought, creative ways of living, and new ways of being than if you hold onto your habits from the past. Much soul-level evolution, progress, and growth is possible this coming year.

Politically...
Politically, there will continue to be confrontations between conservative and more radical ideologies-until ideological compromise is found. Governments around the world will be struggling between the old governmental and structural paradigms and what they fear will be anarchy. The reaction initially will  be overly authoritative or even totalitarian regimes. Democratic balance and equality will be difficult to hold onto at times as dominating forces lurk and try to manipulate the public mindset for nefarious purposes and control-oriented agendas. Eventually, democratic concepts will take a firm hold. In the meantime, it is important to stay vigilant-and conscious. As you focus on your spiritual eye in your meditations, you will develop greater mental, emotional, and physical strength that will protect you as waves of conflicting thoughts and information besiege you.

Many of you asked about the outcome of the U.S. presidential election throughout the fall season. As I said in the 2020 forecast, the person who gets the most votes either may not finish his term, or may be impeded at the beginning his term. Justice will prevail, but various planetary positions indicate a somewhat rocky transition. See my 2020 planetary forecast for further details of Tecumseh's Curse and other influences. Please note that there will be a powerful solar eclipse on December 14, 2020, the day that the Electoral College meets to vote for the next President of the United States. Eclipses can introduce the energy of sudden reversals. Uranus, also a planet that indicates sudden change, will conjoin Mars on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2021. Combined with a square to Uranus from expansive Jupiter on January 17, 2021, this could portend civil unrest, violence in the streets, or even some type of military intervention. It will be a highly energetically engaging time for citizens around the world. Please pray for a peaceful transition to the higher age.

Economically...
Economically, financial markets will be even more erratic in 2021 than they were in 2020, sometimes defying gravity and logic. Some sectors will exponentially prosper while others will languish. Investment-wise, those sectors that are the most flexible and adaptable will flourish. Many buildings and locations will be re-purposed. We're already seeing this as streets turn into dining venues. And hotels are turning into homeless shelters. More stores and shopping malls will be converted into housing, especially encampment-style housing where many people live communally under one roof.

Other prosperous businesses will include: drones, airborne shipping and transportation, and even businesses that support the "flying car" of the future. Businesses that purify or energize the air and water will be popular, as well as oxygen delivery systems, and heating, cooling and ventilation systems. Back-up power delivery systems, medical technology and alternative health care systems will do extremely well in the coming year. And remote delivery, communications, and entertainment systems will prosper. Needless to say, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and technologies that provide virtual 3-D reality experiences will be popular. On the other end of the spectrum, equipment that facilitates a move back to nature, such as hydroponic gardening, rooftop gardening, and back-yard farming will also find a fertile market. After all, people will be seeking more and more ways to become self-sufficient, independent, and live "off-the-grid."

Slow down, Meditate, Pray
As we approach a major turning point at the Winter Solstice and through 2021, take time to slow down. Pray. Meditate. A mindful, peaceful attitude will be the greatest gift you can give yourself as erratic energies flood onto the planet and jolt those people who are not firmly anchored in their spiritual selves, in their inner cores, and in their souls. See yourself as a pillar of light holding firm and strong.

See the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction in the Night Sky!
You can now see Jupiter and Saturn after sunset in the southwestern sky. Jupiter and Saturn, both in Capricorn, will appear to be a "double star" when they draw close together at the Winter Solstice. At this writing, Jupiter is the brightest planet in the sky and Saturn is the fainter planet to its left. By Christmas eve, the two celestial bodies will begin to separate and reverse positions, with Jupiter on the left and Saturn on the right. Mars also will appear several hours later in the evening sky as a yellow-orange twinkling light. Despite the unfortunate suffering in the world, the divine sure is providing a reassuring reminder of its presence in the heavens.
