Spring Equinox Greetings!

The Spring Equinox arrives on Monday, March 20, 2023 and signifies the moment when the light of day surpasses the dark of night. The increased sunlight brings greater aliveness to Mother Nature and greater activity to human spheres.

The 2023 Spring Equinox also coincides with a powerful New Moon in Aries on the "world axis" and is concurrent with major changes in the heavens that will reverberate for many years. Karmic Saturn has just moved from the mental air sign of Aquarius into the emotional water sign of Pisces on March 7, 2023, for the first time since 1996. This will bring a greater focus on spirituality and greater awareness of the immense power of your thoughts and feelings to create your reality.

Additionally, profoundly transformative Pluto will move from business-like Capricorn to idealistic Aquarius on March 23, 2023. This is the first time Pluto will be in Aquarius since 1798. Pluto in Aquarius will initiate revolutionary changes, many of which will be based on advanced communications technology and artificial intelligence--and the creative endeavors that arise from these technologies. Pluto will be in Aquarius until 2044. Pluto last traveled through Aquarius during the revolutionary years from 1778 to 1798. Pluto's sojourn in Aquarius in the 2020s to 2040s will shift the collective focus from material preoccupations with security to more erudite concepts of mental evolution, equality, and freedom. A testing of the foundations upon which our nations and our societies have been built will accompany this change in consciousness. Expansive and lucky Jupiter will move from the entrepreneurial fire sign of Aries into the environmentally-and-financially-oriented earth sign of Taurus in May 2023.  We will become more aware of the sustainability and stability (or instability and un-sustainability) of our natural environments and financial systems under this passage from May 16, 2023 to May 25, 2024. New solutions will be born with this celestial power.

This astrological period also will bring a shift of focus onto the quality of the air we breathe and the water we drink as we become more collectively concerned about the health of our environment. Pluto in the earth sign of Capricorn facilitated a concern with energy resources buried under the earth (fossil fuels) while Pluto in the air sign of Aquarius will shift the focus onto resources available (or not available) through clean air and water, symbolized by karmic Saturn in the watery sign of Pisces and Pluto in Aquarius, the Sign of the Water Bearer. We will see many new innovations powered by water, or simply by hydrogen or oxygen.
